EasyCleaner is a small program which searches your Windows' registry for entries that are pointing nowhere. Deleting these entries will speed your computer up. But as you already might know, deleting entries from registry can be dangerous for your computer, so it is wise to make a backup of your registry. On my own computers, deleting entries which were pointing nowhere, sped my computer up! EasyCleaner also lets you delete all kinds of unnecessary files like temps, backups etc. You can also search for duplicate files (dangerous - see notes below) and you can view some interesting info about your disk space usage! Starting with new version 2, deleting invalid shortcuts from the start-menu is possible as well. NOTE WELL: From personal experience I don't recommend using the "Duplicate Files" cleaner. Unless you know what you're doing it can be DANGEROUS! When using the "Unnecessary Files" Cleaner, some files may not be deleteable. Hold down the "shift" key & de-select the files Windows protects, and delete the rest. This may happen 1-5 times, so just be patient.
